Team Management
Invite teammates to your organisation, assign roles, and control what each person can do inside Flow App Studio.
Inviting Team Members
Open Team settings
Go to Settings → Team (or Users in the main navigation).
Send an invitation
Click Invite Member. Fill in:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The invitee’s display name |
| Where the invitation link is sent | |
| Expiry | How long the invite link is valid (e.g. 7 days) |
| Max sessions | Optional: how many sessions this member can consume |
The invitee accepts
The invitee receives an email with a secure token link. Clicking it creates their account (or links an existing one) and adds them to your organisation.
Resend or revoke
If an invite expires before it’s accepted, you can Resend it from the Team page. You can also Revoke a pending invite to cancel access before it’s used.
Invitation links are single-use and expire after the period you set. Share them only with the intended recipient.
Roles & Permissions (RBAC)
Flow App Studio uses Role-Based Access Control. There are two levels of roles:
Admin roles (platform-level)
Platform administrators manage the back office — accounts, organisations, billing oversight. These are internal roles not typically assigned to regular users.
Business roles (organisation-level)
Within your organisation, you can define custom roles with specific permissions, then assign those roles to team members.
Role management:
- Go to Settings → Roles
- Create a role and select which permissions it grants
- Assign the role to team members
Permissions control access to resources such as projects, providers, functions, API calls, secrets, team management, and billing.
Removing a Member
To remove a team member from your organisation, go to Settings → Team, find the member, and click Remove. This immediately revokes their access. Their session data and contributions remain in the organisation.
Plan limits
The number of team members you can have is determined by your plan’s max_team_members limit. See Billing & Plans for details.
